To mark European Waste Reduction Week, we\u2019re once again looking forward to welcoming you to Katica Farm with a special, environmentally conscious programme.<\/p>\n
On 29 November, you\u2019ll have the chance to take part in an experience that is at once communal, educational and has a real, tangible impact.<\/p>\n
The aim of the event remains to raise awareness of waste prevention, reuse, recycling and conscious consumption.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It is important to us to show that economical, sustainable practices can be put into action not only in large-scale systems, but also in our own everyday lives. This is why it is particularly important to showcase local ideas, community initiatives and tried-and-tested practices, as together we can work much more effectively to protect our environment.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be cleaning up the neighbourhood together, whilst you\u2019ll have the chance to learn, in a fun way, how recycling and the circular economy work in practice.<\/p>\n

Litter picking is both a responsible and community-building activity. It shows that even the smallest actions can have a tangible impact.<\/p>\n

Children can learn about the importance of waste management in an interactive, hands-on way, whilst also taking active steps to help the environment.<\/p>\n

Please come dressed in comfortable outdoor clothing! If you can, please bring gloves and a high-visibility vest! We\u2019ll provide the bags.<\/p>\n
All 25% participants will receive a discount on admission and free Ladybird Card<\/a> chap.\u00a0<\/p>\n The programme takes place over four sessions:<\/b> One session lasts about 1 hour.\u00a0<\/p>\n
