A significant proportion of our ancestors\u2019 crafts have now become art forms. It is up to us to decide what the future holds for these craftspeople and the knowledge they possess. The first \u2013 and perhaps most important \u2013 step is to get to know them and their creations. The Katica Tanya programme series helps those interested to do just that.
\nThis weekend Zolt\u00e1n Gosztonyi, master woodcarver<\/strong>Those interested can meet him. The Master of Folk Art conjures up decorative objects and everyday tools from wood, bone and horn. You may not be able to create such marvels, but you can make a little souvenir for yourself using traditional tools.<\/p>\n
