Spring is on its way, nature is coming to life, and so is Katica Tanya! To mark the National Holiday and Eco Weekend, we look forward to welcoming every member of the family this long weekend with a varied programme of outdoor and indoor activities!<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 On Friday, we can pay tribute to the heroes of the revolution and the struggle for freedom with hearts decked out in festive finery. There\u2019ll also be workshops on making floral cockades and floral brooches!
\n\u2022 As part of our weekend activities, you can make a PET bottle aeroplane, a bottle cap spinning top, a tree from a paper roll and a caterpillar from an egg carton \u2013 all in the spirit of recycling.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It\u2019s time to wake our long-dormant vehicles from their winter slumber! Our Matyi train and barrel ride are back in action with the arrival of the fine weather, ready to whisk off crowds of children and adults on a little ride.
\nIf you\u2019re looking for something even more daring and adrenaline-fuelled, you can even race around the electric go-kart track! It operates independently of the Adventure Centre until it gets dark.
\nLook out for \u2018feeding the little lamb\u2019 in our programme! Our little lamb, B\u00f3bita, who was born a few days ago, wasn\u2019t suckled by her mum, so for the next 2\u20133 months her carers will be feeding her from a bottle \u2013 something she really looks forward to every day. You can come and see for yourself how eagerly she drinks her milk.
