\nBut what is this month of March, the month of Lent, really like?
\nAlthough the name may seem enigmatic, it simply refers to the fact that March is one of the months of Lent. Lent does indeed usually fall in March. This is particularly true this year, as the first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday, fell in mid-February. Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday and lasts until Easter Sunday, is observed by the Christian church in remembrance of Jesus\u2019s suffering.<\/p>\n
