At times like this, Mum or Dad sits down at the computer and starts frantically typing away on Google, searching for weekend activities that will suit the whole family. Activities where everyone can have a good time, regardless of age or gender. Afterwards, the whole family says in unison: \u2018Wow! That was brilliant! It was worth going.\u2019 And the children pester their parents: \u2018We\u2019ll go again next time, won\u2019t we?\u2019<\/p>\n

The machine drops the Katica Farm in Patca. Why there of all places? Let me tell you.<\/p>\n

Katica Tanya is a place where you can give your weary nerves a rest after a hectic week. It\u2019s a place where you can breathe a sigh of relief, put your worries aside and leave them at the door. You can recharge your batteries whilst taking in the sight of the hills and the colourful sheep grazing on them. And most importantly: you can do it with the whole family.<\/p>\n

Family craft activities:<\/h2>\n

Family activities offer a great opportunity to share experiences together. Do something together that everyone will look back on fondly, even years from now. During our craft sessions, you can create something lasting and bring out your creative side.<\/p>\n

Farming and animal husbandry:<\/h2>\n

Your children can learn about animals, plants and farming through play. During the animal care sessions, you can experience first-hand what it\u2019s like to care for an animal and get a taste of what it means to do a selfless good deed.<\/p>\n

Preserving traditions:<\/h2>\n

During our traditional events, you can taste the sweet fruits of your own labour: fresh, warm, crusty bread.<\/p>\n

Entertainment, family and friends:<\/h2>\n

You can be children again: you can slide, jump, go-kart and shoot to your heart\u2019s content. You can discover your limits. You can overcome your fears if you dare to slide down the steepest slide or make your way along the longest zip line. You can encourage your children, boost their self-confidence and set an example. Once you\u2019ve experienced all this \u2013 whether you\u2019ve tried it, failed or succeeded \u2013 it\u2019s time for a well-deserved, delicious lunch. In our restaurant, we can treat the whole family to home-style dishes \u00e0 la carte. The time spent at the castle, which you\u2019ll spend winding up the catapult, is a wonderful opportunity to embark on a journey through history, to get to know your \u201efellow adventurers\u201d who are also cranking the machine, and to forge friendships that are sealed with a glass of Pertu on the restaurant terrace as the sun sets. But if you\u2019re not looking to make new friends, we can also help you organise \u201ereunions\u201d with old ones. Whether you\u2019re planning a get-together with friends, a school reunion, a wedding or a birthday party, we\u2019re here to help.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Environmental awareness:<\/h2>\n

We only use energy that we generate ourselves from renewable sources. We have installed solar panels and solar collectors. We collect rainwater, thereby reducing our consumption of drinking water. You\u2019ll find motion-sensor lighting in all our washrooms. Our constructed wetland treatment system \u201eremoves\u201d substances harmful to us without the use of chemicals, relying instead on nature. As a result, when you stay with us, you have a lower environmental impact than if you\u2019d stayed at home. Your ecological footprint is reduced, and you\u2019re doing nature a favour!<\/p>\n
