At times like this, Mum or Dad sits down at the computer and starts frantically typing away on Google, searching for weekend activities that will suit the whole family. Activities where everyone can have a good time, regardless of age or gender. Afterwards, the whole family says in unison: \u2018Wow! That was brilliant! It was worth going.\u2019 And the children pester their parents: \u2018We\u2019ll go again next time, won\u2019t we?\u2019<\/p>\n

The machine drops the Katica Farm in Patca. Why there of all places? Let me tell you.<\/p>\n

Katica Tanya is a place where you can give your weary nerves a rest after a hectic week. It\u2019s a place where you can breathe a sigh of relief, put your worries aside and leave them at the door. You can recharge your batteries whilst taking in the sight of the hills and the colourful sheep grazing on them. And most importantly: you can do it with the whole family.<\/p>\n

Family craft activities:<\/h2>\n

Family activities offer a great opportunity to share experiences together. Do something together that everyone will look back on fondly, even years from now. During our craft sessions, you can create something lasting and bring out your creative side.<\/p>\n

Farming and animal husbandry:<\/h2>\n

Your children can learn through play about animals<\/a>, plants and farming. During the animal care sessions, you can experience first-hand what it\u2019s like to love an animal, and get a taste of what it\u2019s like to do a selfless good deed.<\/p>\n

Preserving traditions:<\/h2>\n

During our traditional events, you can taste the sweet fruits of your own labour: fresh, warm, crusty bread.<\/p>\n

Entertainment, family and friends:<\/h2>\n

You can be children again: you can slide, jump, go-kart and shoot to your heart\u2019s content. You can discover your limits. You can overcome your fears if you dare to go down the steepest slide or make your way along the longest zip line. You can encourage your children, boost their self-confidence and set an example. Once you\u2019ve experienced all this \u2013 tried it out, failed or succeeded \u2013 it\u2019s time for a well-deserved delicious lunch. At our restaurant<\/a> We can treat the whole family to home-cooked meals served \u00e0 la carte. The time spent at the castle, which you\u2019ll spend winding up the catapult, is a wonderful opportunity to embark on a journey through history, and for fellow \u201efellow travellers\u201d winding the machine to get to know one another and forge friendships, which are then sealed with a glass of pertu on the restaurant terrace as the sun sets. But if you\u2019re not looking to make new friends, we can also help you organise \u201ereunions\u201d with old ones. Environmental awareness:<\/h2>\n

We only use energy that we produce it ourselves<\/a> from renewable energy sources. We have installed solar panels and solar collectors. We collect rainwater, thereby reducing our consumption of drinking water. You\u2019ll find motion-sensor lighting in all our washrooms. Our constructed wetland treatment system \u201eremoves\u201d substances harmful to us without the use of chemicals, relying instead on nature. As a result, when you stay with us, you\u2019re having less of an impact on the environment than if you\u2019d stayed at home. Your ecological footprint is reduced, and you\u2019re doing nature a favour!<\/p>\n
