The Experience Centre will be open EVERY DAY from 1 April to 31 August 2026.
Our outdoor attractions — with the exception of the water park and the inflatable slide — are now open; the Matyi Train and the Barrel Ride are running, and the outdoor trampolines, bouncy hills and Hófánk slides are also in operation. The water park and the inflatable slide will open once the daytime temperature has been at least 25 degrees for a full week beforehand. In 2026, this is expected to be the case during Whitsun week.

Our NEW electric go-karts arrived in the summer of 2025! — We’ve introduced brand-new, cool electric go-karts, which make racing even more of a thrill!

Our electric go-kart track  It operates all year round, but only on dry tracks – this is essential for safe racing. If you’re unsure, check the weather camera on our homepage.

Things you should bring with you:

  • KATICA membership CARD! — If you haven’t already, you can register the whole family at reception in just a few minutes and get started straight away!
  • SOCKS for use with indoor play equipment (also available from us).
  • Climbing walls, Telibe, recommended for use with football billiards: the closed-toe, clean-soled trainers.
  • Clothing covering the back, shoulders and thighs (T-shirt, trousers) + socks for use on the indoor slide, even change of clothesas well.
  • Baby carrier a baby carrier or sling – if you’re bringing a baby, it’s difficult to push a pushchair on the hilly terrain.
  • KULACS, so that you can take it with you, enabling you to stay hydrated in an eco-conscious and responsible way throughout the day, even in areas further away from the main building (you can fill your own water bottle with fruit juice at a discounted price).
  • a towel and a change of clothes when using the splash pad

Food and drink:

  • Between 12:00 and 17:00, you can order hot meals à la carte in our buffet-style restaurant; we serve from the hot food counter
  • Meals prepared fresh on the premises can be enjoyed in the restaurant or on the terrace.
  • Pre-packaged sandwiches and freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries (scones, sweet mini croissants) are available at several outlets.
  • During peak season, on the second floor of the new reception building, in the new dining area, you can choose from 3–4 types of freshly prepared and freshly packaged hot meals, sandwiches, soft drinks, coffee and beer, and you can enjoy them there and then if you’d rather not queue for the wider selection.
  • We use the new dining room on a few occasions for private events or group meals.
  • In order to reduce the number of PET bottles, in our restaurant It can only be served in disposable paper cups or your own water bottle delicious (Grapos) fruit juices are available. (We do not sell cola.)
  • Alu water bottles are available at several points of sale (at the restaurant till, in the gift shop and at reception).

What do we ask of you?

  •  Please follow the house rules and the rules for using the games, and encourage your family members to do the same!
  •  Please let us know on the spot if you have any questions, requests or comments; we’ll be happy to help and will do our best to sort things out — ON THE SPOT. It’s always harder to sort things out afterwards...

House rules for visitors with dogs:

Dogs are allowed on a lead within the adventure centre, but they are not permitted in indoor communal areas, such as the restaurant, the slide house and the Adventure Cave play centre, so it is worth thinking carefully about where and with whom your dog will be spending the whole day.

There may be animals roaming freely both around the accommodation and on the farm, so it is worth bearing this in mind and keeping an eye out for them when planning a walk with your dog. Your dog must not be left alone and unsupervised at the accommodation; it must be kept in a closed carrier or cage.

If you wish to stay with us, you may wish to consider the family-run holiday homes in the village. All the holiday homes have gardens and are fenced, but please bear in mind that the fences are not necessarily escape-proof for dogs. You may bring your dog provided that all other guests staying at the accommodation at the same time give their consent. Please do not allow your pet onto furnished or upholstered surfaces. Please bring your own rug or bedding for your dog. Dogs must not be left alone in any accommodation. Before booking, please view the gallery next to the names of the holiday homes, where you will also find outdoor photographs.

 From hotel guests arriving with dogs  A deposit of 25,000 Ft Please note that upon arrival (when you are given the key to your accommodation) asset protection with the aim of. Provided that the furniture, rooms and doors are undamaged upon departure, and the courtyard is free of rubbish, we will, of course, refund the deposit paid on arrival.

The same rules apply to picking up dog mess as those that apply in public spaces.

When is Ladybird Farm Leisure Centre open?

Every day from May to August; at weekends and during school holidays, from 10am to 6pm/7pm all year round.
We are closed from Monday to Thursday during November and December.

We are also open to groups on weekdays, with advance notice (at least 5 working days before the visit).

Do all games work in winter?

No. We have winterised some of our games, they are resting in the off-season:
- Matyi train
- Barge passage
- I'll knock you out
- Outdoor trampolines, bouncy castles
- Water vehicles, water park

Which games can work in winter?

They can work in mild, dry weather, for example:
- outdoor snow tube slides
- indoor outdoor games (Telibe game, football pool)

You can check the current status at reception on arrival.

Does the electric go-kart work all year round?

Yes, it operates all year round, but only on dry tracks for safety reasons.
If you are unsure, check our website contact side of the weather camera.

What is so special about electric go-karts?

In the summer of 2025, we introduced brand-new electric go-karts, which now feature an accelerator button and display the current race results on the steering wheel! The ride remains quiet, eco-friendly and even more enjoyable.

What is a Ladybird Card and why is it good?

A Ladybird Card an experience gift that the whole family can enjoy, offering a range of discounts.
The perfect gift for Christmas, a birthday or any special occasion.
You can also order online.
If you don't already have one, you can register at reception in a few minutes and use it immediately.

Where can I park?

We have designated car parks near the adventure centre and parking is free of charge.

Is there a map of the area?

Yes, on arrival you’ll be given information at reception, and we’ll help you find your way around the key areas (restaurant, toilets, play areas). The map CLICK HERE available.

Where and when can we eat?

Hot meals are available from 12:00-17:00 in our tray restaurant.

What else can you buy?

On busy days, there is also a separate dining room on level 2 of the new reception building.

Why no Coke?

To reduce the use of PET bottles, we only offer Grapos juices in paper cups or in their own canteens.

Can the dog come into the adventure centre?

Yes, it can be on a lead, but it cannot be taken into indoor public areas (restaurants, slides, adventure caves).

Can I keep a dog in accommodation?

Yes, in family apartments in the village, with conditions:
- with the consent of the other guests
- dogs should not be left alone
- cannot go on furniture
- bring your own bed

A deposit of 20 000 HUF is required on arrival, which will be returned in undamaged condition.

How accessible is the Ladybird Farm?

The Katica Tanya is located in a hilly area close to nature, so we cannot provide full accessibility at all points.
However, many indoor and central areas are more easily accessible, and our staff will be happy to help you find your way around on arrival.
If you have special requirements, it is worth contacting us in advance.

Is the Experience Centre wheelchair accessible?

Some areas and buildings are wheelchair-accessible, while other parts are limited due to the terrain.
We recommend that you call before your visit and we will help you plan your itinerary.

Can we arrive with a disabled child or adult?

Yes, of course.
Our aim is to make sure that all our guests have a great time and find the right experience for them, according to their individual possibilities.
Please let us know of any special requirements before you arrive so that we can be prepared to help.

Is it possible to request individual assistance on the spot?

Yes.
If you need support, you can always let us know at the reception or ask our colleagues.
It is important to us that all visitors feel safe and comfortable.

Is a discount available for disabled guests?
