Information collected automatically in the Katica Tanya mobile app

When you use the app, we automatically collect the data necessary for it to function. This includes:

• Location accuracy and timestamps at regular intervals throughout the day (only whilst within the attraction area)
• The timestamps for each visit (first and last observation)
• Operating system and version
• Device name
• Battery level and status (whether charging or not)
• Bluetooth status (on or off)
• Name of mobile network operator
• Current Wi-Fi SSID
• Status of location permission (enabled or disabled)
• IP address
• User’s preferred language setting
• Current time zone
• Application version and build number
• App interactions (tracked as events and sent to Firebase Analytics)
• Time-stamped geofence entry/exit information (if geofencing is enabled)

We automatically send this data for the following purposes:

1. making the application and its features available;
2. to improve the app’s services and usability;
3. preventing abuse and resolving problems;
4. providing a personalised experience.

The processing of the data is lawful because

1. fulfils its contractual obligations towards the user in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, or
2. This serves a legitimate interest in ensuring the operation of the application and providing a user-centred service, in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
