End-of-year playtime during the winter holidays at Katica Farm
If you’d like a snowman that’ll last, you can make one here using a plastic spoon, or you could even conjure up a reindeer from a cork. If you fancy making angels, you can make them from paper lace here; or even an owl from a pine cone. Of course, we’ve also thought of those who still want to hold on to the Christmas spirit at this time of year – a great way to do so is by making a scented diffuser from a mandarin or a winter-themed stamp from decorative rubber, so that the memories stay with you.
As New Year’s Eve draws nearer, our mindset changes too. But who could possibly see out the year without creating a beautiful picture out of confetti, or even a string of stars? And when the last day of the year finally arrives, we find ourselves longing for nothing more than a wizard’s hat and a magic wand – which you can also make here with us. On the first day of January, we’ll give superstition and good luck another go, so you can join us in making your very own chimney sweep out of chenille wire.
In the cold of late winter, our best offer is for you to visit Katica Farm, so that in our heated indoor play areas You can spend the whole day here. And if you get peckish whilst playing, you can top up your energy in our restaurant. If you’re dressed warmly enough, we’d love to welcome you for a pleasant stroll around the Tanya grounds, where you can still visit our animals, who are still waiting for you at times like this.
Our gastronomic offer: French onion soup – Chicken breast fillet with honey and mustard – Pancakes with custard
Between 27 December and 8 January, during the extended winter break, we will be open EVERY DAY!
