A significant proportion of our ancestors’ crafts have now evolved into art forms. It is up to us to decide what the future holds for these master craftsmen and the knowledge they possess. The first – and perhaps most important – step is to get to know them and their creations. The Tanya Katica’s ‘Special Days’ programme series It helps those who are interested with this.

This weekend With master woodcarver Zoltán Gosztonyi Those interested can come and meet him. The Master of Folk Art conjures up decorative items – and even everyday tools – from wood, bone and horn. You may not be able to create such marvels, but you can make a little souvenir for yourself using traditional tools.  

Visitors agree that it’s impossible to get to know the whole of Tanya and try out every attraction in just one day. Our aim is precisely to offer our guests an ever-increasing range of options to choose from. It would be difficult to find an age group for whom we do not offer entertainment, and in our development work we also strive to ensure that every age group can find an activity to their liking.

Our adventure cave is one of the best examples of this, as it offers relaxation as well as mental and physical challenges. Whether you fancy a game of table football, want to try air hockey, or perhaps wish to put your mind to the test, we have something for everyone here. And all this is just a few dozen square metres of the 13 hectares where Katica Tanya’s attractions await you. In addition to the themed programmes, there are, amongst other things, castle Our Water Park, or our electric go-kart track as well, which gives you the true thrill of speed.
