Summer means camp! Spend a few unforgettable days at Katica Farm and learn to dance from the pros!

The main aim of our day camp is for children to learn the basics of modern dance and discover the joy of movement. Each day will include an intensive warm-up, dance lessons and a relaxing stretching session. Participants will learn two choreographies: one will focus mainly on technical elements, whilst the other will be a cheerful, summery pop routine. As well as all the movement, they’ll also get to play at Katica Farm.

The camp is a day camp; we meet every morning between 8.00 and 8.20 at the Kaposvár bus station, and return to the same place at 17.30 in the afternoon.

Date: 5–9 August (Monday to Friday)

Venue: Patca, Katica Tanya

Price: 40,000 Ft per person, which includes tuition and two meals a day (lunch and an afternoon snack) and the everyday games on the farm.

Teachers

Júlia Handó – has 14 years’ experience as a dancer; she previously danced modern, jazz-funk and contemporary dance in Budapest and at the NDC in Kaposvár, achieving excellent results at national competitions with her own choreography. In 2024, she graduated from the IDA (International Dance Academy), through which she also dances in Copenhagen and Los Angeles.

A taste of his work: 

Emese Sinka – has nine years’ experience as a dancer; she previously trained at Danza Del Amor SE and NDC in Kaposvár, where she learnt the basics of ballet, show dance, jazz funk, modern and contemporary dance; she achieved excellent results with her own choreography in a duet with her partner.
