The first – and perhaps most important – step is to get to know them and their creations. The Katica Tanya programme series helps those interested to do just that.
This weekend Zoltán Gosztonyi, master woodcarverThose interested can meet him. The Master of Folk Art conjures up decorative objects and everyday tools from wood, bone and horn. You may not be able to create such marvels, but you can make a little souvenir for yourself using traditional tools.
